I remember the first time I saw the iconic Atlantis. It was watching the Mary-Kate and Ashley movies. I know I just aged myself. The water slides, the adventure, the fun… I could see it all unfolding at the ultra-luxury Atlantis before my eyes. Who knew that my world would lead me into travel. And after graduating in International Business, a stay at the Atlantis, an iconic ultra-luxury escape, is on my to-do list.

As a luxury travel advisor who has completed training provided by Atlantis, you can be sure that the knowledge here and shared is after real training and education. My understanding of Atlantis, Paradise Island, ensures you have peace of mind of working with a true professional. Feel free to see this and all certifications on the CARTE ATLAS Accolades page.
I could read you the facts, like how it is a 170 acre property with five distinct hotels. Or how it has 141 acres of water activities for everyone. Or even how it has the world’s largest marine habitat. Free shuttles connect all of this for guests of the resort. You could ask the 35% of resort guests who come back to the resort why they do, but I know the answer. There is always something new to explore at Atlantis Paradise Island.
Atlantis Paradise Island has plenty for every member of the family. For the golfers, the Ocean Club Golf Course awaits with stunning views. For those seeking personal growth & relaxation, the 10,000 square foot fitness facility and award-winning Mandara Spa await. And of course, the Atlantis Casino gives plenty of casino fun as well as four celebrity chef restaurants out of 21 restaurant options. The casino even gives lessons every afternoon for new players. And movies are available for the whole family at the Atlantis Movie Theatre. Shall I go on?

Because, there are so many! It’s no wonder the Olsen twins had so much fun at Atlantis, the iconic ultra-luxury escape! Yes, I know it was a movie, but it is true that they enjoyed plenty of activities that every guest can as well. You can see 250 marine species in the world’s largest open air marine habitat. And this is also interactive because Seakeepers are on hand to give talks, answer questions, and provide real world observations of these wonderful creatures in the habitat. CARTE ATLAS focuses on conservation as Jane Goodall was one of my heroes. Atlantis ensures all guests understand the beauty of our underwater friends, and that we play a part in caring and protecting them.
You yourself can enjoy these iconic waters here in Atlantis! Aquaventure hosts plenty of iconic ultra-luxury spots from the Mayan Temple to the Power Tower. Rapids River gives over one mile of fun for the adventurous souls in your group. And with 14 pools and 6 beaches, there are 20 places to simply enjoy the water and relax at Atlantis. The beaches are five miles combined, and you will find unique features in each one. For the younglings in your group, the Poseidon Playzone gives 40 water-play features for them to enjoy while you watch their smiling faces. Oh, so much fun for everyone awaits you!
No wonder the average family of four sees $2,400 in value if they stay four nights! But there is so much more to the iconic Atlantis than that number. The smiles, laughs and fun truly are priceless.

When I saw “Holiday In The Sun” it was my first time seeing the fun of Aquaventure. There is so much to this water park! A 60 foot near vertical drop into the shark lagoon. White water rapids and a “water coaster”. Jungles, Caves, and even a playground for the younglings in your group. Over 140 acres of water filled fun are waiting for you, and it is one of the reasons so many keep coming back because each ride is special. There are 18 iconic water slides, and half of them are perfect for kids of any age.

Let’s talk about those slides. Leap Of Faith is the iconic 60 foot near vertical drop from a Mayan Temple inspired structure. Slide into the shark lagoon and see these often misunderstood creatures swim peacefully. For you will plummet into a tunnel submerged in their lagoon! Or perhaps the Serpent Slide will be more for you as you corkscrew five stories through the heart of the Mayan Temple into a submerged tunnel. Both give you views of these majestic creatures safely and with some fun.
Challenge you friend in the Challenger Slide to race down a temple into the waters below. The Abyss awaits as you drop near-vertical into The Cenote, a call to the underground caverns revered by the Mayans. Finally, The Surge gives a 121-foot Power Tower view of the water fun before you drop into twists, turns and white-water rapid fun. And the River Ride connects them to you. Choose to enter the Power Tower, The Drop or The Falls while enjoying the inner-tube mile-long transport system. Which iconic ride are you riding first?

With 14 pools, and two that are private, the relaxing waters of Atlantis await you. The Royal Baths let adults relax with soothing tunes. A 25 meter Lap Pool lets the fitness gurus get their laps in. Coral Pool lets the fun come to you no matter your age, with family cabanas and an iconic popsicle bar for kids of all ages. Enjoy the Grotto Pool with two waterfalls, and the Baths Colonnade Pools give 2.5 acres of sunning space for those wishing to enjoy the beams. We cannot forget the Mayan Temple Pool, which sits at the foot of the icon of Atlantis. For the youths, the Harborside Pool helps them enjoy the relaxing waters.
Exclusive to The Cove Atlantis, and 18+ up only, the Cove Pool is there for the ultimate relaxation. With four, multi-level pools, beds for sunning, outdoor games, and a live DJ, what is not to enjoy in the The Cove? There is also another pool exclusive to the area called Cascades, which is also available to guests of The Reef. It is family-friendly and gives great views of the Atlantic Ocean with white sand iconic Paradise Beach just steps away.
For the smallest of younglings, Ripples gives tiny mini slides with sea horse fountains for the super small in your group. And of course, Poseidon’s Playzone has plenty to enjoy with over 40 water features to enjoy with the entire family. Just make sure your younglings are 54 inches tall in order to enjoy, but Ripples is always there for laughs and smiles.

With 6 beaches to choose from, your favorite is sure to be found here. Atlantis Beach is the public beach, right in front of Coral at Atlantis, so be aware of this. The Paradise Lagoon gives water sports a moment with snorkeling, paddle boats, and many other options are available for a small fee. Cove Beach gives white sand beaches to The Cove Atlantis guests as they are the closest to it, while Paradise Beach has plenty of space to relax, unwind, and just be one with iconic ultra-luxury Atlantis. Royal Beach connects The Coral and The Royal. Talk about a beautiful pathway!
Did you ask about lifeguards? For safety, note that there are 135-140 Safeguard water safety specialists at every area of Aquaventure and the beaches. Keep an eye out for them, and ensure you follow their instructions if given. My favorite? Any one that has the relaxing sound of waves while my husband and I enjoy a fun drink in a coconut. Cheers!

I am so glad you asked. From dolphins and sharks to rays and endangered species, Atlantis takes massive effort to showcase marine life and interweave it into their resort. Why else would 60 Million gallons of sea water circulate within its marine facilities every single day. The Dig/Ruins Lagoon lets the entire family explore the city of Atlantis while being welcomed by creatures like Jellyfish, Moray Eel, Piranha, Seahorses and more. Predator Lagoon lets guests enjoy a 100 foot underwater tunnel to view endangered species like the iconic Sawfish, as well as barracuda and Caribbean Reef sharks. And Cenote gives beauty to the redtail catfish and the Alligator Gar. With over 250 marine species to enjoy, you will find wonder and awe as nature surrounds you at Atlantis.

You can find private instruction and even group lessons at this course, located just five minutes from Atlantis. And close to The Reef Atlantis is the Sports Center. With three Cali clay courts, and three hard courts, and two pickleball courts, the choice is yours… which one? You can arrange rentals and lessons at the Fitness Center.

Shopping is a part of Atlantis at its many stores. From Crystal Court Shoppes between Coral Atlantis and Casino, to Thistle at the Cove, you will find plenty to window shop until you finally decided it is meant for you. Atlantis Signature Stores give souvenirs and gifts to those in your group while the Pro Shop has the ultimate sports apparel experience. Find Marina Village with shopping as well as entertainment and nightlife. Local Artisans come twice a month to display the Art Walk.

With 21 restaurants and 19 bars and lounges, which iconic culinary delight will you indulge in is the real question. With three celebrity restaurants to select, let’s review them all and see how to get the coveted ultra-luxury reservation.

Nobu is a reservation required dinner spot. Celebrated Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa brings Japanese cuinse to you right by the casino. Paranza by Michael White is reservation required for all main dining times of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Italy is at the heart of this dining experience with the ocean taking center stage. And there is also Fish, by Jose Andres is reservation required for dinner. Find seafood with a Bahamian spice twist at this iconic location. Guests at The Cove have an extra benefit. The Sea Glass Lounge gives you the best of gaming and cocktails while at The Cove at Atlantis, while Sun & Ice at The Cove help you relax with your favorite beverage. It is why it is a favorite hotel of mine, because of the exclusive access given.
Dining plans are available that allow you to enjoy these restaurants. The hardest part will be choosing which restaurant to indulge in during the day. And then which restaurant to delight in at night. Another reason why over 30% of hotel guests come back, because you always leave satisfied but craving more.
